Norwegian, Romanian, Algerian, as well as
Indian, Vietnamese, Burmese, Mongolian, Malay,

How does Wudanese qualify our linguists?
a. Wudanese only uses accredited translators.
b. All our translators have passed a translation
test (which is specific to their area of expertise).
With so many translators and 'so-called translators'
in the industry, we have found these requirements
extremely effective in choosing high quality
translators for you.
Wudanese's editors and linguistic reviewers
generally have degrees in their appropriate
language, or degrees in translation. Alternatively
they may be experts in the subject of the
project.
All Wudanese translators are chosen according
to their source and target language capability,
translation skills, learning capability, knowledge
structure, etc. We then select the appropriate
individual from a large number of candidates.
How does Wudanese manage projects?
The first step in a Wudanese translation and/or
localization job is to assign you with a Project
Manager. The Project Manager is your representative
at Wudanese. He/she ensures we clearly understand
and meet all your requirements. They will
also ensure your on-going satisfaction throughout
the duration of the project.
Our project management system gives you the
confidence of knowing you have a single liaison
point at all times. The following section
outlines the typical life-cycle of document
translation:
· We obtain the source files from you for
the translation/localization of your document.
· Our Project Manager assesses the scope of
the translations required for translation/localization
of your document.
· We provide a detailed quote with a breakdown
of the required translation/localization services,
along with a 'request for translation' form
· Upon receipt of the 'request for translation'
form, an agreement is drawn up for signing
(this is a legal obligation that ensures both
parties fulfill each requirement needed for
the success of the project).
· As soon as we obtain your approval, the
Project Manager assigns the appropriate translator(s)
to work on your project. If requested, the
translator will create a Translation Memory
while doing the translation.
· Once completed, experienced proof-reader(s)
will proofread and edit the translations accordingly.
· Our Quality Assurance (QA) then checks for
any inconsistencies that may have occurred
during the translation process, and corrects
them accordingly (these could be due to linguistic
or cultural differences during translation).
· The translated product is returned to you
for review.
· Changes, if any, are implemented after you
have reviewed the files.
· The final product is delivered to you by
your choice of either email or other ways.
Client Liaison
Project Manager
The Project Manager is the main point of contact
for all communication regarding the project.
He/she co-ordinates the work between translators,
proof readers, editors, technical specialists
and the QA. We ensure that the Project Manager
assigned to your project has the necessary
skills and a thorough understanding of the
technical and cultural issues involved in
the translation and/or localization of your
documentation. The Project Manager is responsible
to you for the delivery of your project on
time, within your budget and to your satisfaction.
He/she regularly provides progress reports
on your project. They complete a diagnosis
and analysis of your documentation. The texts
that require translation/localization are
then submitted to the translators.
How does Wudanese keep our files
confidential?
All our employees are bound by a commercial
confidentiality and corporate nondisclosure
agreement. We take confidentiality and security
issues very seriously. All translations
remain confidential.
What is Wudanese's method of communication?
90% of project communications are implemented
via Internet email. All written communications
with foreign clients are in English.
Are there special requirements in
terms of version control?
For changes of source document by client,
any updates shall be scheduled, documented
and communicated by the client according
to that agreed before the start of project.
Wudanese shall make the appropriate updates
according to the client report.
